Conclusion
That’s not meÂ
nor is heÂ
those names you sayÂ
I refuse to claimÂ
those stories you tellÂ
have nothing to doÂ
WITH MEÂ
You may disagreeÂ
you may say I’m wrongÂ
But your wordsÂ
and your thoughtsÂ
Along with your feelingsÂ
and preconceivedÂ
personificationsÂ
of me and who I amÂ
MEAN NOTHING TO MEÂ
Because you haven’t everÂ
WALKED A MILE
IN MY SHOESÂ
