Constellations

I want constellations
Tattooed behind my eyelids
I want Andromeda chained
To my arms through the ink
Underneath my skin

I want the constellations
Tattooed behind my ears
I want Hercules’ story
Whispered into my head
Forever, over and over again
Like a promise only
The ink can keep

I want stars
I want the stars a million
Miles away trapped beneath
The skin of my arms
I want the sun and stars
Kept for me

I want constellations
Tattooed behind my eyelids

Cavalier!  Excellent write!  Your imagery is fantastic!  Myth, stars and your imagination make for a well written piece on the universe, the heavens, the gods and you!  5 stars from me!
