Contemplating Life

Sitting in my car by the lake
Contemplating life up to now
So far it's been a total blast
The proverbial cat's meow

What did I do to deserve this fate
Certainly not anything special
Tried to live an honourable life
But didn't expect any medals

Will keep on doing the same old thing
It sure's been working so far
I would gladly pass along some tips
Can't imagine what they are

Think I'll donate my brain to science
Maybe doctors can see what ticks
But waiting till my heart stops beating
Outta life I'm still getting a kick!
