Poem -

Contradiction

You looked at my face
And I fell from grace
Entranced by your voice
And given the choice
Had it not been for my beauty
You wouldn't bat an eye at me
Had it not been for my smile
You wouldn't have talked mile after mile
You thought my eyes put the moon to shame
And that there was nothing to blame
For flattery is what won me over
Cause I'm the 4 leave clover
You picked and held onto tightly
And you oh so chivalrous and knightly
Took a piece of my heart
Right from the start
The shard of what remained
What is patched together and blood stained
I don't know you but I need you
I feel like I'd do anything you wanted me to do
