Poem -

Contrast

What does the world look like,

through eyes so blue?

We have seen different things.

We have lived different lives.

Maybe you have to take time to understand

and maybe so do I.

But please, if I ever start to shake,

or I flinch when you touch me,

or cry when you tell me you love me,

remember it's not your fault.

I was put together with broken pieces

that are being torn apart still.
