Controlling the addiction

Convincing , maybe fooling oneself
Inner convincing ,
You do it no more than anyone else .

Doing a little , to avoid too firm a hold,
Enough to sustain & allay the control.
Human frailties , truthful , I suppose.

Minimal , feeding the need
The eternal battle not wanting  to succumb to greed.
We all want to know , we can ,
Control our addictions.
