Convictions past

Convictions past

Not everyone is beautiful,
Not everyone is perfect,
I can't be bothered to rhyme right now,
Because I don't think it is worth it.

I've just been confronted in my local,
Of my convictions past,
Of times when addition ruled,
But luckily it never last.

We've all done things We haven't liked,
But then again who's not,
There's things that I have done that's bad
And my conscience I have fought.

I've tried for many years to better,
The wrongs that I have done,
But as stranger once told me,
It's always yourself you shun.

If I could do it all again,
But knew what I know now,
I'd stay away from all those wrongs
A truthful honest vow.

Hi, Lucy

Such a strong poem, I have a WRONG I'd like to put right, sadly that will never happen. Who can be bothered to rhyme when reminded of a past time.
