Covid Rainbows

 See the cheering rainbows,not the ones up in the sky
Are the ones put up in windows,to bring a smile to passers by
 As we pass this phase  of lockdown,to keep our people safe
We give thanks to our doctors and nurses,for the lives already saved
 Key workers have played an amazing part,to keep our nation strong
They too,are a the top of the thank you list
 Right up where they belong
When all of this is over,a part of history we will be
 They'll have stories of the lives we had,folks like you and me
A few to pay respects at funerals,weddings behind a screen
All of these sad goings on, are brought on by Covid-19
