Poem -

The cracks of her.

You always compared me to the cracks in the pavement
I always needed fixing.
To you my mind was like a jigsaw puzzle,
with always a piece missing.
My eyes were of the oceans nature,
they are so deep and so blue.
Myself I was imaginary,
too good to be true.
But one thing I'll never understand,
was how you thought of me like an open road,
you always said I was calm and beautiful,
but I was lost, with nowhere to go.
My heart reminds you of a broken record,
cracked, with an old soul.
My smile reminded you of Winter,
beautiful, but cold.
You read me like an open book,
but my words seemed so plain.
In the end you cannot compare me to anything,
and that drove you insane.
