Crafting

Crafting

I want to unstitch my body;
pluck each perilous dome arrested
in envelopes on shaking caverns
of feathered lies-
origami.

Examine every precipice that
folds dreams haphazardly into
the demonic faces of a life,
let disjointed memory fall,
grasp the letters I left unwritten-
origami.

Quench the thirst becoming
the shaded depths; despairingly
trace mortality in guarded intuition,
hold each fold across the domes,
and simmer brightly-
origami.
