Please, please, you must let me go
Squeeze, squeeze, my lungs, soft and slow
Pleasโ€”please, youโ€™re merely a ghost
Tease, tease, your touch, I loathe most

Grief, grievesโ€”my heartโ€™s aching too
Please, ease, mired memโ€™ries of you
Freeze, freezeโ€”your touch, cold as ice
Thieves believe in lifeโ€™s avarice

Wheeze, seizeโ€”darkness creeps, not a sound
See leaves fall from trees to the ground?
Breathe, breathe, I cannot catch my breath
Knees bleed, โ€˜til Iโ€™m greeted by deat
