Crisis

Existential, is it?
Or, perhaps, mid-life?
Is there a difference?
Whichever it may be,
Or even both,
It's caused me to turn an eye inward.
Second guessing my long held beliefs.
Though I never really believed in anything,
I feel I may need some spiritual guidance.
I am still a believer in science.
I need to re-tune my moral compass,
For I feel I may have led myself astray.
