Criteria

Now being different is bad
"follow the rules, don't rebel!"
Be normal, 
I want to be something more
But I'm being trained to be a somebody
A nobody, a somebody normal
Not different, society has outlawed that
No wrong turns, no mistakes
One wrong move is all it takes
To set them off, 
They say "it's for the best" 
but is it,
Everyone else walks in a straight line
But I want to run in zig-zags
I want to yell, not whisper
I want to shatter the window of rules
break them, bend them
ridicule them
I wish they wouldn't force me to like things
Be normal
I wish they wouldn't make me dislike things
Don't be unique
I wish I wouldn't have to be optimistic
Don't cry
I want to be strange
weird 
odd
and different
So let me be me
Don't make me follow the criteria
