Poem -
Blemished
Battered façade of bastion stone,
Remnants ofΒ vanquished throne.
Plotted field of skirmishes fought,
Visions of laurel with spoils sought
Β Orisons for befallen souls,
Lament doomsday tolls.
Tattered flag hales assigned,
Ghastly warmongers aligned.
Eβer battling medieval-war,
Midst highlands across, gild shore
Fairytales, dragons, and warrior knights,
For honor, prestige, andΒ thrill of fights.
History books nary writ echt story,
Times passed in search of glory.
But fabled heroes maille appeal,
Echoed vies beyond surreal.
Lands lavish riches untold
Whilst epic battles alas unfold
Romantic notions of eras past,
Where hopes aspire but never last.
