‘Curiosty killed the cat ?’

I wonder why an earth ‘Curiosty killed the cat!’....did it climb into oven to eat a pie & THAT was the end of THAT!....perhaps it scampered down a chimney hunting for a mouse,  when the occupants had a blazing chimney fire within their house!

Maybe’s the greedy cat was devouring a tasty toad when a colossal artic lorry zoomed along that road.... flattening everything in it’s wake... toad & cat were no more, just as well they never survived coz hell they would be sore!!

What a silly cat!! to let ‘thirst for knowledge’ be it’s fate....never getting a chance to use nine lives before it entered the Pearly gate.... Whilst curiosty is a concern, to the meddlesome nosy mind, I’d much rather not take the chance of death & let my inquisitiveness go blind
