Poem -

CUT

Slicing up vegetables he encountered a disaster
His finger was cut and he hadn't a plaster
Blood was gushing like a geyser everywhere
Leaving a mark on his kitchen table and chair

He took a moment and started to think
Blood still pouring over his kitchen sink
To the bathroom he decided he would go
Hoping that toilet roll would stop the flow

Wrapped the roll around the troublesome finger
He has certainly been through the wringer
Fortunately the blood stopped a short time ago
Disaster struck again he then stubbed his toe
