Although Time's fine trees are many, the root of life
Is one, no matter the season. The deep green wine
Flows through the thin, dark veins of leaves in summertime.
Once maturing in autumn, in winter it stills.
In soft springtime, it stirs again. O Nature wills
Death and rebirth in profound cycles. Not until
We embrace Her wondrous ways, will we ever be
Freed from linear notions, that stifle our dreams.
