Daisy Most Faithful

Daisy Most Faithful

MY MOST FAITHFUL LADY as of 2018

Joy                 (9 years)                      Teresa             (3 years)
Kelly               (2.5 years)                   Tiffany            (1 year)
Vanessa           (1 year)                        Helen             (4 years)

Most of them would agree with
Ellen Swallow Richards,  “You cannot make
women contented with cooking and
cleaning, and you need not try.”

But of all my ladies in my life, has been one
with the name of a flower who has stayed with me
for over 24 years  (as of 2017).  She has….

-never complained about her cleaning duties
            -she has never talked back
-she has always cleaned when I asked her to
            -an efficient and effective cleaner
-has been faithful to me for over 24 years
-she was born in the 1970's - the same age as I

Her name is Daisy, and her motto is
“The objective of
cleaning is not just to clean,
but to feel happiness of living
within an environment.”
The other ladies felt that
instead of cleaning,  watching an
episode of the television
show of hoarders could
make the house look great.

I met Daisy in my apartment, when I saw her
standing in a corner,  in her yellow and black outfit,
with three small daisies on her metal skirt.

She is the vintage Daisy Bissell Push Dual Rollers
Sweeper that was made in the 1970’s.
I smile whenever I use Daisy,  she is a push broom
that still works, but there are times when she can
be a little cold,  but usually just in the winter months.

My new wife says Daisy is not work well anymore,
I am am having trouble letting go of my Daisy.
