DANCING WITH MY COWBOY

A cowboy is taking me to a local dance tonight 
His horse is tied up on the gate out of sight 
We'll be dancing to the early morning dawn 
In between eating fried chicken with sweetcorn 

My cowboy looks fine with his new pair of jeans 
Like one of them film stars in glossy magazines 
His dancing perhaps could do with improving 
I fear for my toes and am very quickly moving 

I love my cowboy however no matter what 
With his ten gallon hat he is certainly hot 
Just hope nobody tonight will spoil our fun 
Wouldn't want my cowboy to draw his gun
