‘Danny The Tosser’

Daniel Dalaney treasured his title as Scotland’s most strongest man. and as his clansmen stood around him in the Highland stadium they shouted “NOW DINNY YE’ DROP THAT CABER DAN”.. but the wooden totem trunk was a heavy as the biggest boulder when Danny attempted to lift it up and balance it on his left shoulder

Down it landed in a mighty thump bouncing across the ground, the stadium shook and seats were shaken from the deafening clattering sound.. but all was not lost coz that was only his first initial try so Danny grabbed the end off the foor and lifted the caber high.. then he walked a few paces forwards his knees were buckling from the sheer weight, twas the longest ever length of larch wood at twenty feet eight..but with all his strength that he could muster on this glorious sunny day, ‘Danny the tosser’ tossed the caber flipping the end the opposite way

Well the crowd roared and cheered, they had watched  competitors toss theirs before but not one of these burly beef-cakes had managed what they had just saw.. all at once delighted Danny noticed the judges smile, yes he had gone and done it again, he was the champion tosser by a mile.. built like a sturdy ship and as strong as any Ox, Daniel Dalaney stood proud as punch on the podium box..Danny took center stage with second and third on either side.. with a grin that said it all beaming with pride!!
