Dark Reality

The words I can hardly say,
scramble to be heard,
screaming triumphantly into the darkness,
they are the utter sorrow,
the eternal damnation,
the lost feeling,
the hollow numbness inside,
that I cannot seem to conquer,
the loss I cannot overcome,
the words I cannot say,
the tears I cannot cry.
This numbness,
this lack of everything,
this feeling of nothing,
drives me to hide,
to crawl into the shadows,
to smile in the light,
to only let my tears be shown to the darkness,
where reality is seen,
as it is,
invisible to others,
it sees everything,
as it is.
Pain,
happiness,
loneliness,
grief,
scars,
none of it can be hidden,
from the reality of darkness,
as darkness sees everything,
light shows a side,
but darkness know all of you,
with harsh reality,
that cannot be ignored.
