In The Darkest Parts

In The Darkest Parts

I close my eyes and try not to breath
This Scoffer's vessel will kill me
I won't have children, I won't grow old
My lips won't feel a story untold

The moans and the whimpers
Run up my spine and I shiver
I am so young, I ran in the grass
Now the only thing left is my past

They think I'm a vase
A lamp with a face
Some piece of trash
They can beat and lash

I hold on till sun rise
Then I'll open my eyes
To find my brothers
Marching in shackles
