Poem -

Darkness and Despair

Darkness overwhelms the air,

As I fall deeper and deeper,

The overlord of despair,

He waits in my dreams,

Waiting but not seen,

I cry wanting death,

At the bottom I’m left,

A light is above me,

Just out of reach,

I stay silent,

Not wanting him to see,

I weep and squeeze out one last tear,

This is my life I fear.
