Darkness in the Valley
As I cry myself to sleep at night..
thoughts racing, tears glazing
myΒ pillow.. I wonder how, why, what if.. the pain, the struggle, the strife.. the ups and downs of life... never did exist...
Would the world be full of bliss... Or would we simply be.. in an everlasting drift..
of fake hellos, smiles, open arms and concern...
Would it be easy or just as hard... Because nothing is ever easy... Not even happiness?
What if we could envision a world of unity without struggle or pain.. but would there be any gain?
The funny thing about the unknown.. is that.. it is unknown.. we are not omniscient..
We cannot be resistant..
to the path set out for us.
For it is already paved.. already laid.. already made..
We just have to trust and have faith.. in all things that were prayed..
To those who question the darkness..
Remember, there is value in the valley.. regardless..
Listen, appreciate it, and learn.. you will find the darkness..
is harmless..
and full of light.Β
