Poem -

A Daughter's Love

You have always been here for me

No matter what I’ve done,

So many memories we have

Some bad but many fun,

I love you so vary much

Although I seldom say,

That from the bottom of my heart

My love grows for you every day,

Fishing in our old pond

Piggyback rides when I was small,

Pick me up and kiss my wounds

If forbid I’d ever fall,

I’ll always be your daddy’s girl

Even when I’m 50 and grey,

Sharing memories with my own kids

Of the love we shared every day,

All the gifts that I receive

Don’t even compare,

To the gift of love God gave to me

Of the love you and I share . . .
