Days Of Peace

Colors dripped off the page
Running into the real world of my eyes,
Freedom roared, far out up on stage
In the minds of time peace was just another craze.
Float as one and visualize
Stripping down bare to flow with natures lullabies,
No where to obtain it but there
You could smell it like the green's smoke, it was all around in the air.
We grew in the grass
Branching out from trees,
Flower power meant to last
Calming spirits riding an energetic breeze.
The rock boomed
Swooning beautiful music, free love;
Not to societies purpose, our feet moved
To the banging of a different drum.
As a child of light
We danced out of sight,
Left lasting marks in our hearts, praised universally
Painted faced strangers in a familiar place, there rests part of me.
