Poem -

dead in a vase

when did you die
I have sat here
watching without looking away
and now you are dead
dead in a vase
the water long stagnated

all of you poisoned

drained
dried
twisted into unfamiliar forms
when did you die
I am still here
have always been here
I swear I gave you water
cared

and you still died
I must have looked away
I can never know when
but it was too late
you were gone
you are gone

I love this poem,I was laughing as I read it.Who hasn't killed some flowers in their day?And I loved the
excuses used.Adorable!Forgive me if this is not what you meant.
