Dear America

Dear America,
So much hatred being spewedÂ
Just look at this evil feud
We're divided by different views
Still praying knowing we're screwed
Hoping for the best
Still fearing the worst to come
If I'm putting my trust in one
Then let thy will be done
I'm a man of GodÂ
I will fear no evil
Nor the wickedness of peopleÂ
In this wordly upheavalÂ
I keep my head high
As I bask in the rapture
And shine light on the factor
That black lives matter
Some may dispute
But their empathy is negligentÂ
We are treated as a specimenÂ
And hated by our melaninÂ
Cold world
When you're deplored by color
They mock your culture
To annex this rupture
Put your fist in the air
Stand out in the crowd
Now say it loud
I'm black and I'm proud!!
We shall overcome
And rise beyond this slump
Rather mountain or hump
No man or Trump
Will hold us down
United we stand
My brothers and sisters
And you don't have to be black
To fit in this picture
As long as you are with us
You're judged not by skin
We'll make America great
Like it ever was "again"
It may take time
But we will take no limit
We will stand our ground
And a fight comes with it
