Dear Dad

You did so much wrong.
Words like a gong,
Echoing through my brain,
making me a afraid.
You made intrusive thoughts.
My love you bought.
You loved me with money.
Acted sweet as honey.
Forever a facade.
Always on my guard,
All because of you,
Never came through.
And now I've had enough...
You... You've made me give up
