Dear God

Dear God,
Please bring me patience,
For I am losing mine,
I may need you to hold my hand,
For just a little time.

Dear Lord,
Please give me strength,
For I am feeling weak,
I find it hard to find the words,
In order for me to speak.

Dear God,
Please grant me silence,
For my thoughts are shouting loud,
And give me quiet and peace of mind,
So that I may feel proud.

Dear Lord,
Fill me with confidence,
Make me believe in me,
That I do not need anyone,
Not to care what people see.

Please God,
When will you help me?
I need you now so much,
I'm feeling like everything grows dark soon after my hand has touched.

I'm going to go to bed now,
And I'll hope to hear your sign,
To wake in the morning sun,
To a new dawn that is mine.
