Death

Death

The inevitable death,
the darkness comes crawling in
Silence after the last breath
Sad; isn’t it the worst sin

But there must be something next,
like spring flowers after snow
Are we all just little specs?
We may transform then grow

What are we all hoping for?
Searching for answers to life
A light stays bright in the core
The fear of it causes strife

All these religions to console,
the reality of the soul

Very true, Harmony. Death is inevitable for all of us.
We may get to the finish line of life by vastly different means.
Some will take those roads "less traveled" while others will prefer to stay on the straight and narrow path.
But, in the end, our final destination will be the same.
Lovely writing...
