Death

Walking closer towards you. You become afraid. Not because of him, but because you know how much of you this man now holds. Could he hurt me? That could never be. So you hold on tight to the, "Marry me." You hold onto forever and watch how forever goes. You hold onto "I love you" You hold onto all his words. You hold onto everything. You know all he's worth. Knowing his anger. All he has at fault. You know his every movement. All he ever taught. He is your everything. Dare you be afraid? Not when you feel this way every single day. Loving him even when the rain begins to pour. Would you still love this man if he brought your world to the floor? The man who promised forever didn't even let it start. Could you hold this love together or would you simply fall apart? Would you question this man why or instead stay silent and silently die? Could you continue to stand or would you fall to your knees? Would you say anything at all or simply let it be? Would you believe what is considered to be dead or would you start to believe that this is death instead?
