Death Penalty

If I steal money,

I’m only stealing money if I’m caught.

And if so, and I have no money,

I will pay back the money with my time.

If I take a life,

I’m only taking a life if I’m caught.

And if so, and I have no life, as such,

I will pay back life with my time.

If I steal time,

And I am only stealing time if I’m caught.

And if so and I have no time,

I will pay back time with my life.

Then and the same,

how many more lives will I take?

even if I’m caught,

before I have no time………………
