Deception

The feelings that once filled my heart with love
now fill my tears with sorrow
and as the dominoes fall
the emptiness that consumes my exsistance
blankets my world with hopelessness
and saturated depression.
I use to believe in what I thought was truth
now everything has changed I'm no longer a youth.
My world was an open door for the facts an easy steal
looking back I realize now
the lies were the only thing real.
Everything has crumbled all that I knew
rearranging what is false and all I thought was true.
A man in the world of reality
a stranger in the land of make believe
the only truth I have come to discover
are the teachings of how to deceive.
