Declaration of Love Part Three: Revelations

Your façade is smooth,
undetectable,
and almost invisible.
But within the words you speak;
I hear your hidden meanings.
Within your soul,
and upon your heart;
I see the scars of a love lost to tragedy.
And although pain in your past
has helped strengthen your ruse;
I see the true love you hold back.
You yearn for a moment of peace,
a moment of blessing,
and a moment of forgiveness.
Every night,
your prayers are filled;
with pleas of release from the guilt that you feel.
And every night,
you hope for a sign;
that releases your heart from its prison of remorse.
You’re waiting for a moment
that fulfills your desire to move on.
You yearn for the moment
when you can live and love again;
without feeling you’re betraying our love.
Every night you pray,
 and not only do tears stain your beautiful face,
but emotions of
regret, sorrow, and guilt stain your wonderful heart.
You dream at nights,
and even though you see them as images and words of condemnation;
you  misunderstand their intention.
Your mind is afire with beautiful sanity,
but you must understand;
your prayers have opened a doorway.
Through your tears of unearned guilt,
and through your true pain of heart filled remorse;
you have gained the attention of a powerful force.
Your sorrow and love
have allowed this grand moment.
So let thy heart be still
and be not afraid.
Remember this moment
and treasure this night.
