Decorations

Decorations

Christmas has overtaken our house

to the dismay of my spouse

doesn’t want tinsel or little snowmen

the grinch raises his head again

says all that stuff is tacky

I just thinks he’s wacky

I love the explosion of decorations

I’ll take his remonstrations

I’ve curbed it a wee bit

just so he’ll come out of his pit

I wonder if I’ve any mistletoe

as on a reindeer he’s stubbed his toe
