Deep Roots

Is the change sustainable? 
I truly hope so!
Is who I am now, who I will forever be?
I truly hope not!
 

For I want to forever evolve, with new knowledge comes new power!

I desire to be the best I can be, I have BIG DREAMS!
Will I succeed?
I really want to but these past flaws have a lot of strings to pull.

Relapses are right around the corner, one to many might lead to the coroner, but I’m trying my best!

My anxiety is through the roof, my stress leaves me in a mess, my poetry allows me to confess!

I know right from wrong, but my brain calls the shots, it’s been through a ton of pain and hurt, it reacts sometimes without thought!

Thats the brutal and bitter truth!
