Delilah

Delilah

Alas fair maiden reverence afar
Blessed upon a wayward star
Thou betrothed to another
Bedeviled ardor swiftly suther

To the winds a genteel shift
A beseech steadfast adrift
On Cimmerian raven wings
Hopelessly smitten heart springs

Fate may n'ver grant thy grace
I content to gaze on thine face
For even a jester finds peace
When torments beg release

Delilah, how erringly I long
To serenade thee a love song
Alas sweet maiden I canst hold
Thou claimed heart of gold
