Delusional

It’s hard to make sense of the World in which we live
Religious belief:  Is life a gift
From God or a random chance of the universe
Do we look to science or to Biblical verse?

I’ve had times of feeling profound insights
Of thinking I know the truth and that I am right.
And occasions too where I’ve feared persecution
My grasp on reality weakened:  Sometimes confusion.

Is it as a result of too much sensory input?
So many things to hear, so many places to look.
Trying to understand and make sense of reality
Religion, atheism, philosophy.
