Poem -
A Departed Flame
Situated on her perch, reaching out to a star with a loving caress
Transformed, reminiscing of a dear departed flame
Gazing into the cosmos for a Devine resolution for her fractured soul
There was contentment in his smile , warmth in each kiss
A joyful exuberance with ambient glow all around
Requited dreams unfulfilled
This is the cycle I am living now
Paying homage to him under this moons swept night
As I breathe my last breath
Tears are flowing with the thoughts of us intertwined in my head
Memories of when you first held me tight
So hard to say goodbye but soon we will meet in heaven for our eternal flight

Hey Devon thanks a whole bunch . I am glad you think this is one of my best poems I have written. I took my time today . It is snowing here very pretty but not happy about being stuck inside all day. I thought her clinging to a love that almost was . Meeting in heaven to regain that love . Hugs to you rock
I hear ya Rock im going to be snowed in for the weekend it is coming my way and it should start snowing any minute now and there calling for 18-24 inches.
