Depression

A person with depression is not a happy soul

To feel normal and loved is a person's only goal

Stop calling us stupid or saying we're thick

We have an illness which makes us feel sick.

We have an illness which makes us feel sad

We're not loopy or looney,we're not nuts or mad

If you lived in our head for just one day

You would change you're mind and watch what you say.

You'd see your opinion was wrong all along

You'd see we're brave and have to be strong
