Desperation

 Every fight,
Every tear,

Drifts me further away from the light,
I can no longer see if the light is near,

Every cut,
Every thought,

I fear that the door is beginning to shut,
My mistakes, your vanity have left me fraught,

All the tension,
All the lies,

I've tried to shut out with my cries,
I knew not of the pain I'd carry,

Before this, I was unwary, 
I have no one to ease my pain,
But I shall still fight for the sun light to return,
For this desperation will come to a dead end while my life will take a turn, 
Time will pass as the sun slowly comes back to me,
My life will be on the right road,
And will never go back to Desperation.
