DESTINY IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT

A story can reach far and wide...
Any group you're in...
Whether Satanic, Metaphysics, Science, Atheists, Believers and Non Believers...
A headline of Pastor disguises himself as a homeless man...
He has been placed into a large congregation...
He is brand new...
Would your place let him in?
Would you have given him a dime?
Do you keep a blanket in your car for someone cold in Winter?
It doesn't matter who you are your destiny is yours...
Your heart belongs to you...
Destiny is what you make it...
Hugs...

Wow this is a wake up
call to our less human selves
(like we don’t know our failings)
Wake up humanity
Or what’s left of it

Hello Tina...
When I go somewhere new I will visit some Churches because, it tells a lot about many things...
People are very seldom the same at Church as they are away from the congregation...
I have found a few people who are the same but, it's very rare...
It's a great way to see who your neighbors are and it says a lot about the community and it takes a short time to find the hypocrites and those who can barely remain Christian for the night or one day...
It's a good way to stop the nosy welcoming committee from knocking on my door with their cakes and thousand questions too...
Knock if you're real or please just don't knock or ring the bell, either...
Many Christians are to blame for the wrong things they show to the world...
It's no wonder why people don't trust them...
There's lots of them that if someone offered me a million dollars to trust them...
They can keep the money and I'm good knowing...

Hello Jai...
People know their failings...
They are usually the ones with the greatest reasons, excuse, they feel entitled to be pardoned and excused...
AKA Dilussional...

Hello Sis Cherie...
Better check ourselves before we wreck ourselves?
I wonder how different people would be if Jesus didn't set us free from our sins...
Would we sin more or less?
Thank you for your kind comment and support my friend!

A powerful write, as always, friend. If only more people could hold a heart such as yours - filled with such empathy and consideration. Well done for this piece, Sparrowsong!

I make it a point to sit and talk with everyone I see or meet on the streets, Sparrowsong. You'd be surprised by some of the stories they have to share.
Last Christmas, I begged for an army green Carhartt coat I spied at the local Tractor Supply store, which I subsequently received, much to my joy.
The following weekend I attended a Cincinnati Cyclones Hockey game and saw a guy sitting on the curb coming out of US Bank Arena after the game.
He had on nothing but a white t-shirt and it was 38 degrees outside.
I asked him if he would like a new coat and his dead eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.
I gave him my new coat.
Ya know, that coat has given me more joy knowing someone has it that really, really needed it more than it ever would have otherwise.
Nicely penned, as always...

Hello Dean...
I go to the local homeless shelter a lot...
The more I talk to people the less scared they feel and the more encouraged they are...
The ones who try to intimidate by the snarl on their face before long they're holding the door for me and actually begin to smile...
Many tell me about all the positive things they're accomplishing and some just can't seem to find the opened door yet...
I definitely understand where you're coming from...
It's an awesome experience indeed...
That was such a very nice thing you did...
When I was real sick a few years ago I lost a lot of weight really fast and the Doctors thought I would be dead by that Christmas...
I tried to find people who could wear my clothes because I had to have smaller clothes...
I knew that one of two things was going to happen...
Either the Doctors were right or God had another plan...
I'm back up to the weight I was before and I still get nauseas, dizzy and more headaches but, I can wear both sizes now...
I do a lot of clothes swap now...
It's a lot of fun...
☺
