Devil's Book Checked Out

Devil's Book Checked Out

On a shelf a book about the beast stood dusty and thick

The rows of books tormented in rhyme and riddle upon the shelf

A demonic ritual of death and flame, the torn pages of the past, calling to be read

The books were of the demon himself, a powerful book indeed

The suffering shall come to he who picks it up and the nightmare after the read

When you read it you will feel the pages turn by themselves, lifting a ghastly spirit within your life it will spread

A story of the undead, the buried come back to life, the witches game, the devils rule, the day of the dead

They haunt the living, just read the story, the more it gets eerie, a sick feeling of horror

Suddenly you are torn to blame, no longer the same, the demon now takes over

Be careful which book you pick off of the shelf, the scars will be on your hands

The library book, will have a certain glow, the light of the blazes of hell

A book written in words of tongue, words only the devil would know how to spell

You will soon grow horns, hooves become your feet, your eyes a piercing feel

Your tongue thickens and is forked, your ears pointed, a lathering evil grin

You now hold the book in your arms a sacrifice is forced with the evil of the night

Fill your world now a forbidden sin, the righteous no longer in sight, no good you reap

The Devil's story has been read, you have just become his satan

Beware, be careful which books you check out to read
