Dice

Dice

There is no greater pain
Than the suffering within
Inside the echoes of the earth
We sit in the eulogy itself
In death's own time and doing
We dance the dance of death
Kiss it's black lips
So are wasted lives
For death knows of suffering
-
One day a black raven flew
It flies into a black night
No one can see it's sharp claws
For death is a silent mystery
Dancing in a skyless sky
A moonless moon -
Does death ever know it's own truth
O earth can you ever hear
The suffering of humanity

In this parade of night
This street of barking dogs
The never ending traffic
Play death - play with life
A dice today perhaps?
Suiciding it's own mythical way-
Does death ever know it's own truth
O earth can you ever hear
The suffering of humanity
