Dieting

Dieting

I fancy the salad but then fancy the pasta
Make sure I leave room for my baked alaska
I then want onion rings, burger and chips
Moment on the lips, lifetime on the hips
I then change my mind and go for the hake
My mind is made up but I spot the rump steak
You’ve got to have chips if you go for the steak
I’m starving; I wonder how long it will take
I’m annoyed at myself for not sticking to my diet
I need to lose weight so I thought I would try it
No chips allowed, where’s the fun in that
I’ll compromise and choose the ones with less fat
But they don’t do oven chips in this eating place
I’ll have to give the diet a few days grace
I’ll start it on Monday so I can enjoy my meal
Dieting is easy, what’s the big deal
