Poem -

DIFFERENT WHEN THE COFFIN LID DROPS----RAMBLING INTO ME

drapes its wings around the green necked fiend
each step splinters ages resting sage
nod your neck
break the sky
eased into ground
only the foundation can be really lost
birthmarked
runs from the eye to eye
singed by ancestors fire
dressed for another level
a crossing held on the stilted walk
people stare
fearing some eased reflection
sniffing fresh this newly placed
scented disgraced purity
dog collars blessed by woven clouds
screaming concrete swimming rivers
in this fleshy tsunami
stinging between another thigh
that smile hooked
floating problems excused in parental scenes

ONE TIN ON THE DUSTED SHELF
ONE DOOR EXIT OR ENTRANCE IN
ONE BEATING HEART
ONE BEATEN START
