DIRTY LAUNDRY

I can't sleep
Up all night
Hearing weird sounds
Gives me the creeps

Must be these dirty sheets
I haven't washed for weeks

Or it could be the ten year old mattress
With the broken coil springs
I thought it would live up to its name
Ever-last! The comfort king

My body itches
Causing me to I toss and turn
There is a little rash about my neck
Could it be from my food stained pillowcase
That has caused such a burn

My PJ'S were a Christmas gift
Five years ago
And as far as I can recall
It has never been washed with soap

Because of my dirty laundry
I stayed awake all night
But as soon as morning comes
I'll make every piece of laundry
Bleaching white...

O, with soap of course.
