Disappointed Tears!

Disappointed Tears!

Summer rain upon a leaf that flows
from clouds a darkened hue
and bounces on hot stones of Hell
lost fallen disappointed tears
The song of birds without their voice
falls deaf upon hope's bleeding heart
though screams aloud in hollow thought
with sound of disappointed tears
Sad swimming in an ocean blue
that washes sand of dreams a want
and drowns all joy of what could be
in suffocating disappointed tears
Slow sinking in a cloying sludge
at site of grave with Ravens hovered
and water from the staff of life
too toxic to revive
salted with disappointed tears
So hark dreamers of desires a fired
they may be Angel fanned with wings a spread
though ever dampened from the Devil's tap
of Humanities disappointed tears
                                   and extinguished!
