Disconnect

Disconnect

The world begins to shut out,
The battery draining fast,
My phone won’t send the message,
That gives me peace at last.
I promise you i’m here,
But the wifi is failing fast,
I promise you i’m here,
Just not that it will last,
Because my data is turned off,
No options to resend,
I’m reading all your messages,
Not sure of what you intend.
Social media is fake,
And i'm not sure what to believe,
When none of the world feels real,
And time not what I perceive.
The message never sends,
Like you were waiting to expect,
All the wifi is gone,
And the only option is for me to
Disconnect.
